Our History

The Neighbourhood Resource Association of Westminster Park (NRAWP) began in 2002 as a group of residents who wanted more local programs and services in the Westminster Park area for their children.

This group of about seven parents worked together with the City of London and other agency representatives to advocate for more activities in their neighbourhood.

During 2003, this group interacted with the South London Neighbourhood Resource Centre to apply for granting opportunities
so that the additional programs and services could become a reality.

In January 2004, this group was enlarged, reorganized and formalized to become the Neighbourhood Resource Association of Westminster Park.

Today, this association continues to work with these partners and other local organizations to bring programs and services that will benefit the residents of Westminster Park.
